The presence of brands in people’s lives is now more important than ever. Communicating in times of crisis, talking about what concerns and interests our audience, from a settled values and with a hand on the heart is essential for both the voice and the personality of a brand to be real and essential for them. Communicating has always been and will always be important in our daily lives, but it is today when brands are going to mark a before and after before probably the most demanding population in history. Covid-19 has not taught us to live in the moment and to understand that nothing will be as it was before, nor basically as it was 24 hours ago. We live in the present, in the here and now. As a result of this, these four initiatives that we present below are born.

In just one weekend, thousands of Spaniards demonstrated that if we get out of this we all get out as one. That is why, in just 48 hours, our balconies were filled with endless applause, “resistirés” (some sharper than others) or even improvised bingos where singing line was the biggest milestone of the day. Ha sido uno de los momentos más duros a nivel de compañía, pero nos tocaba ser honestos y sinceros. According to the Spanish census, a total of 4,732,400 households have spent this quarantine alone. For this reason, from Relevant Traffic we wanted to be closer to them than ever before through the activation of #EstamosContigo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With this initiative and through our Instagram account, we wanted to launch a message of hope to all those who were alone through our stories. First, we launched our communication posts to present the action and explain to our users what they had to do to participate.

The action consisted of sending a message of light to those who were alone, by converting our stories in a morse code of hope so that each and every one of those homes feel that we are all with them. In short, our goal was to become closer than ever in times of separation..

We will be back. And we will come back stronger than ever

Simple, clear and direct. This was and is our promise in times of COVID-19. Bajo el hashtag #MadridIsVeryAlivewe join this initiative launched by photographer Ignacio Pereira Ignacio Pereirawho chose one of the most famous streets of Madrid, Gran Vía, to reflect the current situation we were living.

While it is true that this initiative was born out of a claim for the use of his photograph in an improper way, his claim went further and urged dozens of artists to illustrate it and send a graphic message to all the people of Madrid.

At Relevant Traffic we didn’t want to be left behind and we launched launched this publication joining this great initiative to send a clear and direct message to the heart.
