Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how RELEVANT TRAFFIC MEDIA SL uses them on www.relevantgroup.media, and how you can control them.

1. What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to remember your actions or preferences over a period of time. In addition to cookies, similar tracking technologies exist (pixels, scripts, unique identifiers). For simplicity, this document uses the term cookies to refer to all such technologies unless a specific distinction is necessary.

2. Who Sets Cookies on This Website?

Cookies on this website are set either directly by us (first-party cookies) or by third-party services we use (third-party cookies). Third-party providers operate under their own privacy policies, which we link to where relevant.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function. They enable core features such as page navigation and the contact form. They do not collect information for marketing purposes and do not require your consent under Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI and Article 6.1(f) of the GDPR.

Name Provider Purpose Duration Type
wordpress_* WordPress (own) CMS session management. Only set when an administrator is logged in. Regular visitors do not receive this cookie. Session 1st party
wp-settings-* WordPress (own) Stores interface preferences for the administration panel. Only affects logged-in users. 1 year 1st party
rcb-* / real_cookie_banner Real Cookie Banner (own) Stores your cookie consent preferences so you are not asked again on every visit. 1 year 1st party

3.2 Analytics Cookies (consent required)

These cookies allow us to measure website traffic and analyse visitor behaviour in an aggregated and, where possible, anonymised way, in order to improve our website. They are only set after you have accepted this category via the cookie banner.

Name Provider Purpose Duration Type
_ga Google Analytics 4 — Google LLC (USA) Distinguishes unique users by assigning a randomly generated identifier. Used to calculate session and user metrics. 2 years 3rd party
_ga_XXXXXXXX Google Analytics 4 — Google LLC (USA) Maintains session state and records navigation data within a single visit. The suffix corresponds to your GA4 property ID. 2 years 3rd party

Google Consent Mode v2: we have implemented Google Consent Mode v2. If you decline analytics cookies, GA4 receives only minimal, anonymised behavioural signals and does not identify you or build an individual profile.

3.3 Tag Management

We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to deploy and manage scripts centrally. GTM itself does not set any cookies containing personal data — it acts as a container that loads or blocks other scripts based on your consent preferences. It is treated as a technical infrastructure service.

Name Provider Purpose Duration Type
(no cookies set directly) Google Tag Manager — Google LLC (USA) Technical management of scripts. Loads or blocks other trackers based on the consent choices you have made. Session 3rd party

3.4 Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor our website’s performance in Google Search results. This tool does not set any cookies on visitors’ browsers. It operates exclusively through server-to-server communication between our website and Google, or via a verification tag managed through GTM that does not collect personal data from site visitors.

3.5 Web Fonts (Google Fonts)

The typefaces used on this website are self-hosted on our own server. No requests are made to Google’s servers to load fonts, which means this functionality generates no cookies and involves no transfer of visitor data to third parties.

3.6 Contact Form

The contact form is built with Elementor. Submitting the form does not generate any tracking cookies. The personal data you provide (name, email address, message) is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, not through cookies.

4. Legal Basis for Each Category

Category Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies Legitimate interest and technical necessity (Art. 6.1(f) GDPR; Art. 22.2 LSSI — consent exemption applies)
Analytics cookies (GA4) Your explicit consent (Art. 6.1(a) GDPR; Art. 22.2 LSSI)

5. International Data Transfers

Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager are operated by Google LLC, based in the United States. Data transfers to the USA are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and by Google’s participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. For further details, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

6. How to Manage or Withdraw Your Consent

Cookie preferences panel on this website

You can review and update your cookie preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of this website. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

Browser settings

You can also block or delete cookies directly through your browser settings. Note that this method does not allow category-level control and may affect how parts of the website function. Instructions for the most common browsers:

Google Analytics opt-out

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your browsing by installing the official browser extension: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Consequences of Declining Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the website to operate. If you decline analytics cookies, we will simply be unable to measure traffic or analyse browsing behaviour. All other website features — including the contact form — will continue to work normally without any limitation.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we introduce new services or technologies, or when applicable regulations change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. We recommend checking back periodically. Any material changes will be communicated via a prominent notice on our website.
